She has expert knowledge of the Irish and UK healthcare systems and extensive experience with considerable success in developing dozens of high quality HTA submissions for assessment agencies including the NCPE and SMC.
Recognised as the leading Irish expert in Strategic Market Access, Brenda frequently chairs high level forums and discussion groups with Senior leaders in the Healthcare Sector. Brenda obtained an honours MSc. in Health Economics from NUI Galway where she was awarded a distinction for her Masters thesis examining how HTA bodies throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland manage budgetary risk associated with the introduction of high cost medicines.
